Took my father skydiving for his birthday last summer. He was nervous to say the
least. The staff at Rick's were professional, courteous, and - most of all -
fun. By the time my father hit the ground he was grinning from ear to ear, and
ready to jump again. I would recommend Rick's to anyone looking for the time of
their life. I'll definitely be back again!

AWESOME IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! |
AWESOME IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! I attended a tandem jump for my daughter as a spectator. Her mother bought her the jump for her 18th birthday. I showed up never expecting to do a jump. I always wanted to, but never made the time to try it. Three other people were supposed to jump that day with my daughter, but never showed up. I said to myself, why not go up with my daughter now, and jump with her?! I asked Kay if the other people didn't show, if she could fit me in. She was very accommodating and said sure! They had five rigs ready and I could go even if they showed up! I was excited to say the least! So I filled out the paperwork and went to training with my daughter! What a great experience and I got to share that with my "little girl"! Nobody can ever take that away from either one of us! I went back two days later and watched the accuracy training that was taking place all week. I have definitely got the bug! I WILL be in the first static line class in April! Thank you Skydive Ricks for an amazing experience and I cant wait to start my own journey into the sport of skydiving!

Saturday was my first jump and it was AWESOME!! Thanks ALOT to Rick and Kay and
to my instructor Pete. The class was very informative and helped with my first
inexperienced jump. I plan to jump again SOON and hopefully continue the sport
for some time to come.

My dad went Skydiving at Rick's for an entire summer when I was a teenager, and
ever since I wanted to try it. I promised myself I would go for my 18th
birthday, but it just never seemed to happen. Finally for my 24th birthday my
dad bought me a gift certificate to do a tandem jump and get a video. I jumped
with Jimmy - who also took my dad for his first jump and is absolutely amazing!
I was a little nervous but Jimmy kept me talking and reassured me through the
whole process. I purchased a video (highly recommend getting a video!) and he
was awesome about catching great aspects including how I was feeling before the
jump and getting a shot of the solo jumper that left the plane before us. That
video is something I will treasure forever! His confidence rubbed off on me and
when it was time to jump - I wasn't nervous at all! There are no words to
desribe how it feels to freefall and being under the canopy is equally amazing!
I want to thank everyone at Rick's for making my first jump so memorable!

I just want to say Thank you first! Because of you folks at Skydive Rick's I
have a wonderful memory to hold onto the rest of my life. The staff and just
everyone were wonderful. I can't express my gratitude for being given this
opportunity. It was truly amazing! I recommend if you are thinking about trying
it, DO IT! You won't regret it for one second!

I just wanted to say that I was totally impressed with the staff and folks at Skydive Ricks.
What a great time we had, my Son and I both took our first leap and was hooked!! Thank You all for the experience of a lifetime.

One of the best experiences I have ever had |
Skydiving at Skydive ricks was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I went with my brother on my 18th birthday along with 2 friends and we all plan on visiting again very soon. The feeling is indescribable. Our Instructors Joe Greith and "Tornado" Bill were very nice and comforting. I will definitely chose skydive ricks for jump number 2 and many more in the future.

Awesome does not even come close |
I did my first tandem jump yesterday, August 28th. Awesome does not even come close to describing the experience. All of the staff; "are the best". They put you at ease right at the beginning. As Arnold S. would say "I'll Be Back"....you can count on it.

What an Awesome Experience!! |
What an Awesome Experience!! I did my first tandem jump yesterday July 25, 2010. I wanted to thank you all for making it one of the greatest experiences of my life. Your staff truly are "experts". The whole experience was first class. I admit I was somewhat apprehensive but once we started the training I knew I was in the hands of professionals. Special thanks to my tandem partner Jimmy Drummond for guiding me through the jump and getting me down safely. Also thanks to Tom for the training, Jim for being a great pilot, Joe for the great video, and Tim for being my son's tandem partner and answering a lot of questions. Once again, thank you all for a great time and helping me fulfill one of my lifelong dreams!

There is such a family atmosphere |
I have wanted to skydive for about as long as I can remember but could never find someone willing to go with me until yesterday. I'm so glad that my friend and I choose Skydive Ricks. Everybody was great. There is such a family atmosphere. The people really made the experience all that much better.

Thanks so much for making our first ever skydive so easy yet so entertaining! Ever since I was a teenager I have wanted to skydive. It took me until my 50th birthday to actually get around to it. Life is full of interuptions isn't it? In our video my daughter said I looked "scared to death" but it was just the excitement and anticipation of what was to happen that put that expression on my face! LOL Your people were all top-notch and everyone made us feel welcome.
Again, I can't thank you all enough for making us feel so at ease. Your jump zone is great! My mom and dad had a great time waiting for us to get to altitude for our jump. It all still seems like a dream that we actually did it! We still say that to each other! When we are ready, we will be bringing some friends with us to do their first jumps. Thanks to all your staff once again!

I just wanted to say thank you for the most amazing and memorable experience ever. It was the most thrilling thing I've ever done in my life and I can't wait to come back and do it again! I would recommend anyone to come enjoy a thrill of a lifetime to anyone. Your staff was a wonderful group and so friendly, and that helped make any nerves that I did have all that much easier. It was amazing from beginning to end |
I did my first Tandem jump yesterday and don't why I waited so long to do it. It was amazing from beginning to end, the freefall was awesome. My instructor was Jimmy and he knew just how to keep me calm. As soon as I got in the plane, all my fears went away and as soon as he hooked his gear to mine, I knew I was safe and just in for pure fun. My only regret was I didn't get the video - MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE VIDEO. I'll get mine next time, and there will definitely be a next time. Thanks to everyone at Skydive Ricks!!

Thank you EVERYONE at Skydive Rick's for making my first jump...and my birthday...memorable. It was awesome and I truly can't wait to do it again! Jimmy did such a wonderful job of explaining, informing, and most importantly making me feel comfortable and safe. Because of that, I was excited throughout the process and enjoyed the jump vs. being nervous. (OK, yes I do admit to some deep breathing and quick prayer in the minutes before the jump!!) Everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming and excited for me. They were also great about including my "cheering section" of friends who stayed firmly planted on the ground to watch. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience! For anyone considering a jump, I would recommend Rick's without a moment's hesitation. I'm looking forward to jump #2!!

I went skydiving for the first time Saturday 6-6-09. It was the most amazing and breathtaking experience I have ever had in my life!! I jumped tandem with Tom, and Paul recorded my DVD. Thank you all so much for making me feel so comfortable! I loved it and look forward to jumping again someday!!

The sweatest thing I've done yet! |
My first skydive with your awesome staff, was the sweatest thing I've done yet! Especially since it was also my first time being in an airplane! The rush you get from jumpin out of a plane and freefallin at 120 mph is a one of a kind thrill. A special thanks goes to Tim (instructor) and Paul (camera man). I'll be back for at least one more jump before the summer is over.

My daughter and her boyfriend skydived for the first time on Saturday 5/10/08. I have to say, everyone made them both relaxed and anxious! I was going to go with them but was hesitant. After seeing what they did, I AM HOOKED! I have a lot of guys at work that want to jump! I respect all of Skydive Ricks folks, class act. I will NEVER go anywhere else!

My niece and I had our first jump on Saturday. We had the most amazing experience of our lives cant wait to come again. The knowledge that everyone at SkyDive Ricks has is incredible and completely puts you at ease if you happen to have cold feet. I had searched websites for about 2 weeks before I came across SkyDive Ricks I am so happy that we decided to make the 3 hour drive to come to Petersburg to make our first jump. My cousin and I chose Skydive Rick's for our first ever skydive. We did a tandem jump with Greg, who has over a thousand jumps under his belt and is a fantastic instructor. Not only were our jumps amazing but they were caught on DVD in startling clarity after we opted for the recording option. It was a pleasure to meet all the great people at Rick's and it truly made for a once-in-a-lifetime experience...except I hope that I will get to do it much more than once; I'm hooked!
